Thank you goes out to all of the Veterans in the BHS for their service to our country. Many of the members for the Cascade Chorus were at Applebees for coffee and lunch and had dinner at the Texas Seakhouse at Valley River. Thank you to those and many other business' for their contribution to our veterans.
On April 1, 2015 the South Albany High School in Albany, Oregon suffered the loss of their entire music building at the hands of an arsonist. A collection of music of over 40 years was destroyed as well as band instruments, uniforms, choir robes, cheerleading uniforms, and the like.
From Vic Fitzpatrick: "We went to Division IV Contest this past weekend and earned two awards, third place in the division and most improved chorus. The latter is the one we're most proud of. An outstanding effort by the men in the chorus-and especially our director, Kathy Kileen." In addition, Social Insecurity competed and scored well. There's a lot happening with the Cascade Chorus-come on down Tuesday and check us out. We're working on music for our fall show, and now's a great time to join us!
