FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES
We started our Foundation by paying school groups performing on our Christmas show
in 2003. Since then, we have contributed $34,325.32 in cash or music to schools
in our communities. (through June 2011)
We provide financial support to music departments. We purchase music books for
grade schools and middle schools. We provide financial assistance to choirs
going on tour.
We provide scholarships to students wishing to attend Harmony Explosion--an a capella
barbershop style 3-day music camp. Check it out at

We provided support to Project: Sing On! As her senior project for the
University of Oregon's School of Music, Megan McCornack organized Project:
Sing On!, a benefit concert aimed at raising money for dwindling area
high school choral programs.What a great idea, Megan.
Local businesses continue to give to support our foundation. These businesses
donate the funds because they believe in school music.
Cascade Chorus wants you. Find a way to support music in our schools. If you
wish, send the contribution to us. We are a 501(c)(3) and your assistance is
tax deductible. We will be happy to include your donations in our projects.
